try re-laminating the sheets to the release liner. that should help with the bubbles. also you may have to raise the head on your machine so you don't get the head strikes. also could be a temp issue with the printer, maybe too hot and causing the material to bubble up. try some different settings
no worries. i am not a huge fan of the things we have to do now. i wear my mask when mandated and wash my hands..blah..blah. i am doing what i have to so i can work and keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. not making light of the situation but with that said the government really...

i have printed on yoga mat with roland LEJ-640. everything went fine and adhesion was good. the issue we had was customer complained about the smell from ink
installed some mactac bubble free clear with custom printed color per customer request. now they are complaining about squeegee marks. printed on roland eco-sol printer (pms2130- blue) w/ gloss lam
any tips or tricks to not get squeegee marks?
will they fade over time?

the main thing that gets me is if my computer gets slowed down working with the file so did the designers so why didn't they fix the issue so it's manageable.
then throw in all the other issues that go along with it..haha
is it just me or does anyone else receive art from customer with large graphics masked off and make the file size huge and hard to work with?
why would you leave a file like that?
am i missing something?
it's so annoying when you try to move a file in illustrator and it freezes up while it moves...
the XC is a work horse we have had ours for years but it does need some regular maintenance when stuff like that happens. i usually start with the cap tops. then dampers then a head soak over night after that a head might need to be replace but that i have to call a tech in to do.
we have slowed down but still have work. unfortunately we have had to got to a 4 day work week starting next week to try and save some money.
could be worse, at least we can still work
i would double check with your tech but we have roland machines and a fugi flat bed all have been left on during our 2 week company shutdown and they run their regular cycles of self cleaning and ink renewal. if that is not an option and you have to shut them down i would flush the lines with...
overall not really but we do have one area it's starting to disrupt. we do work with a few event/party planners and do graphics for weddings, parties and other events. just had two jobs canceled. one was a big one for GOYA luckily no special materials were ordered and no printing had begun yet
i have not seen anything like that before. you probably have to buy a roll of Kraft paper and a roll of mounting adhesive then just laminate the two together
we went two years with little to now issues and then all hell broke loose. our dealer covered everything and after a long drawn out process and a lot of down time they have everything converted to the T2 ink, software and firmware and it's been about 6 weeks give or take and things are running...

we use the nazdar inks also with good results but only their solvent inks. do not use their UV inks. we had some issues with them but nazdar is a good company and they came out and did all the neccessary repairs to get the uv machine back up and running and refunded us for the uv inks
