Don't bother. You know dang well that if you toss them in a box with the studs on them and ship them EXPECTING them to arrive damaged they will show up without a scratch on them.

Wet your felt or suede squeegee with soapy water before you use it. end of problem.

Yes....forget about the steel. Use 18x24 .080 aluminum and cover it with self-adhesive Magnum Magnetic. Mount your prints or whatever on top of that. We do a lot of 4' x 8' signs for a local company that way and they hold up great.
