I think the downsides of banner is high winds/rain could come through and tear it off it the 1-2 weeks or more it could take before video is made. After the shoot would have to remove otherwise Id imagine water will get trapped under the banner.
CGI, maybe could be done but won't be seen from...
What's every ones favorite tool/squeegee for 50"+ wide panels going on a floor (roof). I have a 27" yellow tool timber and just ordered a 64" for this job
It's a pretty simple design, pink and white. Maybe could be done with paint.
I did a smaller scale test print for them out of the 6 mil vinyl and they like it. Just trying to see what I might be missing before I go on a roof when it's 100 degrees outside
I have a customer that wants a large decal to go on a brand new, flat white roof. They will be making a drone video of the building and what the brand on the roof. Only needs to last long enough for the video shoot, if it can be seen from planes landing/taking off from the nearby airport that is...
I use a flatbed daily to apply transfer tape, apply prints to substrates, short pieces of lamination etc. You would not want to be laminating anything longer than the bed on a flatbed. It is a great tool to have but it is not a replacement for laminating full rolls/long prints.
Mounting prints...
something like phototex would work, easy to apply and will come of easily. rated for 6 months outdoor.
I did some temporary trailer stickers for an even and worked great
It really depends on you in this situation and knowing the reason you cut ties would be needed for an accurate "what would you do"
You can just send the files and finish the cutting ties part and forget about it.
You can send the files for a fee.
or send them a low res jpeg so they leave you...
I'm getting close to 1M sqft with original printheads using pretty much one profile for everything.
I had an issue with media not transporting well/bunching/causing head strikes until I started applying "cleaner A" once or twice per week to the platen "10070056303 - CLEANER A, ASSY BOTTLE HZMT...
I cut full rolls with this amount of bleed on my Graphtec, some of the designs are 10ft. Cuts pretty much dead on the entire roll as long as I use the flange system.
You could throw a positive offset bleed behind this for added peace of mind too
I think negative offset path is hard to beat. This example was made from a pretty bad original cutpath so would be better if made from a good original cutpath
