  1. Chatter in CNC routing program

I don't know and never bothered to find out, although I thought it very strange at the time. I switched to EnRoute years ago.
  2. Chatter in CNC routing program

I would think that too, but no, it doesn't work like that. Doesn't matter if the design is 1'x1' or 8'x4', it will still be at the resolution (7x, 20x, 50x) that you nominated at the start of the job. The thing to watch out for is that file sizes can become monstrous.
  3. Chatter in CNC routing program

No...it takes longer to router a toolpath with chatter than it does a smooth one....but it'll be a lot more taxing on your computer to make the files as there is more data in the relief
  4. How long have you been on here?

    2004 or earlier...can't remember
  5. Chatter in CNC routing program

A while since I've used Aspire. I thought there was a smoothing function for this problem somewhere? If you hold down shift+control when creating a new job you get 20x and 50x resolution options on the pull down in addition to the normal (max) 7x resolution.
  6. How to convert a sign blank to EnRoute and keep the size needed

In EnRoute, go to Setup/Preferences and click on the Unit tab, then Length. From that same window you can change to inches, mm whatever. You can also change your Time and Speed settings.

  14. Looking for a font that looks like an egyptian font any hand letterer would use.

Edited.. Identical to what I was taught as an apprentice..... A few differences here and there and the strokes are a touch thicker on this version, but at least you can buy it.... https://www.letterheadfonts.com/fonts/egyptian.php
  15. Question EnRoute 4

Enroute will run fine on Win10, 32 or 64, it's the dongle drivers that are the problem. From memory, up to version 4.3 will run on Win7. They changed the dongle and drivers from version 4.4 and I think it will run on Win10 32 and maybe 64. This is off memory, so not 100% positive. You'll not...

We don't do it like that unless the letters are inset.
