  1. Need Help Machining contour elevation paths on a CNC router

Try it without any tool path applied and you can’t be in an isometric view.. only side or top view.
  2. Need Help Machining contour elevation paths on a CNC router

Off the top of my head...you can select them and delete them, edit them with the 'edit points', 'linearize tool', or the 'cut by line' tool, group, ungroup, whatever, before you apply a tool path. If you already have a tool path applied, EnRoute will group an inner and outer contour together as...

  4. Need Help Machining contour elevation paths on a CNC router

Check your pass count so that you are not cutting air passes, especially on the deeper cuts...you may have to adjust the tool parameters so that EnRoute doesn't split it into multiple passes per depth.
  5. Need Help Machining contour elevation paths on a CNC router

Yes, that's it. You can get rid of the relief and put each 'layer' of contours onto a new layer to help speed it up.
  6. Need Help Machining contour elevation paths on a CNC router

EnRoute can't merge/combine toolpaths as far as I am aware. I haven't put a great deal of thought into but I think the only way to get something approaching what you are trying to achieve is to mask each water droplet relief and apply a spiral toolpath unless you want to manually draw in each z...

  9. How would I go about wrapping a water tower?

On the high ones that I've worked on 100'-150' has always been to lower you over the side in a bosun's chair with a scale drawing, piece of charcoal, folding ruler, string line with plumb bob and a pot of paint. Some lower ones have cleats welded to the tank where you attach brackets to hold...

  11. Trotec Speedy series vs SP Series

You will be way better off with an 8' x 4' (2500x1300) laser for cutting plus a small engraver like a universal, epilog or a trotec for the small and the fine stuff rather than just having the SP3000. 95% of the time you'll never use larger than 8' x 4' sheets of acrylic. Anything over that...

  18. Question Bodar cnc router

Does it use NC studio? If so, it can accept .hpgl / .plt and .iso, probably .dxf . I would start with the Generic G-Code (mm) .tap post from Artcam. You may have to change the extension. These things have fairly simple controllers. I would be surprised if you get anything from Artcam...
