Just curious as to how everyone did this month. We're just about matching 2020 for January. January isnt typically busy for us anyway & can finagle a couple invoices on Monday and roll them into January. As of now only $1500 shy. Ill take that as a "win" for '21 considering all things.
We looked as Esko's lower end machine and went with Colex. Still happy with it for most part. Helps that Colex is here in NJ for any service...makes things much easier.
I know....we had this problem multiple times over the few years we have owned this now. Figure the Cat5/6 will be good to go for a while. I can even order one to have on hand if this goes awry in the future.
Thanks Bruce...but the camera isnt the issue. We documented how many times the cam froze on an x & z axis movement. It was directly related to the electrical current running through those wires to the appropriate motors. We were able to trace the USB cord and figure out exactly where the close...
We deal with Colex directly and they are at least sending me the new shielded camera wire. It came down to the electrical current nearby on the power wires screwing with the USB cable signal for the camera. They never had a very good shielded wire for either use. According to them, this...
Just got the clarification.....the Technical Support Manager just called. He apologized for the confusion on the technician's side but informed me the part is no charge since we have been having ongoing issues with this camera for some time. We still need to install it...uggh....ourselves, but...
So, as many of you know...I was very happy with my Colex cutting table and router. Now, they are on the sh*t list. Last year, camera problems....freezing issues....having to cancel and try to get the camera to see the marks and all. Freezing constantly and causing major delays and such. We...
Sorry for the loss. On the Agfa Anapurna's there are 2 computers essentially. One being windows where the files are stored and where the Agfa printer controller software is as well. The 2nd computer is the printer itself basically. They are linked with Fiber optic cables I believe...or high...
Nothing hidden anywhere....Agfa makes you call them for support. Might be worth the $150 US to get on the phone with them to troubleshoot it. Have you rebooted the entire machine? Turn the computer and printer off with normal methods...then turn off the MAIN supply. Wait 30 seconds and turn...
We offer luster lam on most of our backlit prints. If the client wants matte, we of course are able to do that as well. The luster is a nice in-between and I believe it enhances the backlit some over dead flat matte. We use Briteline UV at about 120-125° on our laminator.
