I just looked...we are still running 25.0.1. Hadn't run cutting master in a while but something was still different about it nonetheless. Ill wait on this update for a while then.
We adjust the blade a tick and add pressure. The issue with putting the blade down more, is when the material travels back and forth....it can scratch the print or cut as the carriage works back and forth.
6mil isn't anything new...we've done that quite often. On our graphtec, we run at least 30 on our plotter for that media. Its likely you won't break anything.
Haven't updated to latest Illy yet. Ill check it out in the AM when I get back to the office...and see what happens. Usually just copy the plugin into illy to get it going again. We cut quite often in caldera for most part...
Welcome aboard. IJ35 is nice for a gray backed vinyl. Take a look at Avery 2921EZ as well. Check your pressure on the plotter....thats really all you need to do. Otherwise a slight cutting depth increase in the blade.
From what I have heard & read, on the smaller latex printers is the color consistency from panel to panel. We do not experience that with our large latex 1500s.
I would hope...But I really don't think you'll be able to get it tight along that span without it sagging and as signhere said, its a huge freaking sail even with wind slits. Do some math on the wind load. 2 single sided banners with multiple posts along the run would likely be better. Double...
We've been doing this a long time....a wedge welder will do the double sided banner but its possible you will have scrapes and such along the Visual opening as you go along with it. Even on our miller hot air welder, the nozzle comes in and can cause some issues. Down in Florida there, you...
We have had clients clear coat vinyl after airbrushing on prints we have done or lacquered onto a floor. As uncle said above....fix the vinyl and then if you feel the need, clear coat over the entire thing.
I know who you are. We did white ink primarily for you for some election stuff. Colex has been around for a while. The equipment is made well and strong. Everything is built here in NJ.
If you need cameras for print/cut, just get one that has it. Trust me, not having cameras is a big deal. Colex has been excellent for us going on 4+ years now. Well made and great support. Camera issues here and there...but support worked it out.
If you keep the printer on overnight, does that keep the heads warm? I know we come in the morning with our Agfa to warm it up for about 20 min...quick purge and all good. Does the HP have an auto clean cycle?
Well...I hope the FBI finds the sh*t brick that bashed the cop in the head and killed him. See how political that is then.
"OK. They weren't when Comey came out when they were investigating Clinton. Y'all are such a wishy washy bunch."
Good point.
