No it just uses the same data for both layers.
If you don't have that profile for your white ink printer then maybe the printer doesn't support it.
Best check with your rip vendor or company it guy.
Any version.
The profile is Quality Layered.
Once the file is ripped right click on the job > edit > printer settings > define layers > CMYK - White spot data OR White Flood - CMYK
If you pick white spot data then you need a Spot 1 layer in the file with overprint turned on.
We do it all the time on our Arizona.
The simplest way is to just select the layered option in Onyx and select colour/white/colour option.
It's great for backlit prints.

I haven't tried it because I just want the best output from each machine.
This is meant to dumb down the printers with the biggest gamuts to match the least.
If they are all profiled correctly there's an option in Onyx to select Devicelink in the profile section of quicksets.
This is supposed to make all printers output the same.
You were certainly unlikely to die from covid in 2018, when those stats were collected.
This data was from April. I believe things have gotten worse since then.

We're new to this plugin for Acrobat and I'm still getting my head around what it can and can't do.

One thing I just looked at is - adding bleed to objects like text for profile cutting.
It adds bleed to pages very simply but I can't see if it's possible for objects...
