If you get a Colorado better hope it doesn't get humid.
Apparently that's the reason power supplies are going in Oz -
they're now out of them and I have a dead machine a week before xmas with no eta on repair.
We had a bit of warranty left on our 60600 so called the dealer and said we have 1 nozzle out and they replaced the head.
The new head also has 1 nozzle out. It doesn't cause any print qulaity issues so we didn't worry about it.
There's a spec sheet on profiling which gives recommended ink limits. I follow that.
For matte modes it's 280 for each combination which isn't crazy high..
I haven't experimented with reducing restrictions or limits but I'm sure someone as experienced at profiling as yourself could get a decent...
Sure mate is there a specific paper you need to use?
We've run 80gsm bond paper on ours successfully.
We normally just run ours in the Quality modes which are usually fine and fast enough for most jobs.
I'm sure jobs without heavy solid fill could be run at faster speeds.
Maybe Canon know...
Even matte lams will have a bit of a sheen.
We had to do some test targets for a film studio and they rejected everything as too glossy until we showed them Colorado 1650 matte print on a matte vinyl.
