Amazon is cutting back, there are a few unfinished fulfilment centers in my area that they decided to not open. Amazon over estimated covid demand and went way too big. Amazon is also doing incentives and really asking 3rd party sellers to increase FBA use.
Amazon is doing everything possible...
My UPS driver said they are getting AC either way and it is in the works. Trucks have been getting ACs installed. He doesn't care too much for getting AC as the trucks get turned off every 2 minutes at stops and opening/closing doors will be a big slow down. Maybe if they did not have to turn...
It is pretty expensive, those LTT ads aren't cheap.
I think in their undercover purchase of prebuilt PCs, origin was decent overall with some issues they were willing to address. Still much better than dell/alienware and HP indian tech support trying to sell you 5 year warranty
I also have Adobe CS6 on this computer ,don't know where my install disks are or where the key is so gotta keep it running as long as possible to avoid another Adobe license. my newest computer has the latest Adobe subscription
The day after I buy the new power supply without any research, LTT releases a video bashing this PSU, although it is a best seller.
Found out old PSU was dead on Sunday and had no choice but to grab something off the shelf at bestbuy 10 minutes before closing. I'm sure it'll be fine for a few...
Those small dealerships have flags of every brand you can think of. One side of the street big name official GMC dealership, look the other way and see a GMC flags, banners etc next to beat up cars, maybe no gmc even on the lot.
Feather flags, banners etc that are I'm sure printed locally at a...
There are dozens of used car dealerships, cash type places in my area and all have banners and flags of every car brand logo you can think of. One is even called beemers and benzes or something like that. Some of these are right across the street from big names like GMC, VW, Toyota official...
I remember 10 years ago I was shipping 36" x 12" x 12", 20lb box for $7 (retail rate) across the country. Now this would cost $20 with negotiated rates and probably $40 retail
My main computer at the shop was built in 2013
3770k (was 2nd fastest consumer cpu at time of build)
32 gig ram (crazy amount for 2013)
Rx580 (added a few years ago as the 4870 from 2013 does not support 4k resolution)
Ssd (added sometime after 2013)
Originally had WD raptors hdds
Just last...
Or just copy the specs of the "dell xps system" and build your self for a 25% savings plus getting a way better non proprietary motherboard, PSU, Case = more upgradable down the road
If you want "the best", build yourself. Avoid any of the big brands loaded with cut corners and junkware
What is your budget? 1k? 2k? 3k?
I'm happy with my
7950x
128gig ram
7900xtx
My UPS driver today said "we are definitely going on strike for at least a week on Aug 1st and they (union leadership) have already told us where to park the trucks and other stuff on how the strike will go, some of my larger pickups already switched to fedex for now". Driver sounded like he...
