We get LDF from a local lumber yard. It takes a week or so for them to get it in. We found a big difference in suction with the LDF vs MDF.

I would recommend 6mm ACM. I didn't know people were still using Alumacorr anymore. I recall the material often having a wavy looking face. It just always looked so cheap. As ACM became more popular, I saw it as the natural upgrade from Alumacorr.

You can get this material from other suppliers, Ultraflex still makes it. We buy ours from Fellers, I think Lexjet sells it also. Love it for retractables. Been using it for about 12+ years.
