Actually I have found a ball bearing...so believe I have an issue. What part has the bearings that connects the print head assembly to the linear way rails?( Not sure that is the right terminology

I am starting to hear a grind(with squeak) noise at the print head as is goes back and forth. Just appears to be metal rubbing metal is there a place to add grease on the supports that print head goes back and forth on? I may not be describing this well but the issue seems to be getting worse...
VanderJ you are both the winner and a life safer!! Let this be a lesson, the lever you were referring to actually had some of the paper label from the cartridge and it was the sticky side preventing the lever from moving.
Thanks!!
Hello, ran into a first. My mimaki jf 1631 is showing me that my cyan ink level is near end and it does so on 3 brand new print cartridges that I have tried. I have never ran into this before.
Last night I ran washing fluid through the head and let it soak overnight, when I can in this...
I am at a loss!!!!
Hello I have 3 jf1631 printers and within the last month and half we have started having issues with print jobs just stopping right in the middle of the print, when this happens the green light post flashed and so does the display on the control panel and we get an error...
I have 3 mimaki Jf 1631 and on a occasion we will have a job just stop printing right in the middle of the job, when it does the green light flashed and the display on the control panel flashed also. Well this morning is a first...it is happening on all 3 printers and I have no idea why.
My...
WalkerP and all other who helped. After countless hours on the phone white mimaki and 4 days onsite with my tech, we finally figured it to be the filter on top of the printhead between the damper and the head. Would have thought checking there would have been done early on in the process but...
I am in discussion now with Mimaki over the phone and will let you all know what I find out, but ironically he is asking me to attach air pressure to the ink line to see if something is plugged.
He also mentioned there were two small holes in the needle the goes into the cart and if one of...
LOL. that is correct from what I can that you have written above. I have never had a tech leave without fixing our issues which makes me feel like it must be an ink issue.
WalkerP I am pretty sure my tech used the syringe on the yellow head was attached and e got ink through the head. We...
Regarding the filters, when we hook a syringe to the line going into the damper we can pull ink nicely, then we hook on to the bottom side of the damper and can pull ink nicely. Then when we put everything back together and try to pull ink through the cap station with the head down on the...
Thanks guys for your help. My technician is gone now but I would have thought he would have checked filters...having said that where would they be located on the jf1631?
My technician has tried everything and is going to leave so I need other options. Does anyone have a tech in the Midwest or should I just call Mimaki at this point?
Ok we will play around with voltages, I have to think it is ink related, we have tried multiple heads, dampers, ink pumps, head wires even swapped the cyan and yellow ink lines and the yellow color drops out.
ok we have swapped the cyan and the yellow ink lines and dampers and tried to print them both together and sure enough the color changed to teal ( not as blue as before, it was dropping out slower) suggesting this might be a yellow ink issue?? Would love your thoughts? What would you do next...
I am having an ink drop out issue. I had a tech come to work on August 6th and since he has left we have slowly seen an issue with yellow ink dropping out. I use to be able to do a head clean or pump motor draw and get it to print ok but by the time it would et to the end of the table the...
