I never found any "cheap" rubber that worked good.I did learn that cheap cost more.If a blast job goes south because of a cheap mask it is very costly and not worth the risk of a few pennies.

We use a 1" or 2"square aluminum tube frame for double face hanging signs.When we route we make extra pieces to pack the edges top etc. Makes for nice thick sign.MDO as backer or in between 2 pieces of foam does not work.Rots out very quickly because in can't breathe.
+1 for coro stencil and spray chalk.Cut the stencil ship it and be done.Anything else just does not make sense..Stick a 90" piece of vinyl on asphalt...come on.
Never been a big fan of Flexi or subscriptions.I always thought why spend all that money on Flexi.Corel and rasterlink work fine for me. Corel is not expensive and your new printer will probably come with rasterlink.
