For everyday cutting of stuff I like the sheetrock blades and handles from the depot.
Really like the stiletto ones.
For finer work I like the best #11's with or without a handle.
I knew an old time ruby cutter that never used a handle and between cuts he put the the blade between his lips.
I'm not an expert but here is my short version.I always found they are a combination of a few things.
Mostly the chassi,truck,unit and how it's been maintained. Look the truck over.
Common sense should give you most of the answers.You must have a reliable truck.

This is a tough one to answer. Sign service isn't a commodity like refrigerators. Everyone's need on what they need to get to survive is different.
I at least quadruple what it cost me.Than I add my fees for installation,permits, consulting etc.
If the customer said he has permission.I would put the sign up and get paid.Why bother checking any further.If it turns out he did not have permission it's his problem not yours.
I have had similar experiences trying to make cheap stuff work. I learned a long time ago that cheap stuff actually cost more. Try using the best materials you can get.

Have had this 1999 e350 for 20 years still serves me well.I could not live without a glass rack don't know how others do.Got the bigger versa lift too.
