Hi all:
I am buying a 2020 HP R1000 plus. I have had HP latex roll to roll printers (L26500 and currently the 365) I have been using a HP FB 500 UV printer for the last 7 years. I am able to work on all the equipment and have replaced my own parts. With that said this machine will be...
I did figure how to boot into diagnostic mode. The service code was 3174 and to get into service boot mode was 5494. I worked my way to ink level sensor and ran diagnostics. Everything passed but I know I have an issue. When I replace the sensor will I be prompted to put in the new sensor code...
Hi all, big Signs 101 fan.
I've got a HP Latex 365 that has been determined to have a bad chip reader in the Optimizer ink slot. I opened the side up and it looks straight forward enough to replace. I am out of warranty and have serviced my other HP equipment in the past. Part number is...

Graysquirrel, are you calibrating the FB500? I've tied a number of time with Onyx and the pattern is so small that I find it next to imposable to calibrate with my handheld spectrometer.
I call HP support directly. It's a know issue, they don't call it bad ink, they call it underperforming!! They need just a little info and will overnight a new ink. They will include a new filter if you press them.
We also use Briteline Rollup for our HP 365 latex. I looked up the Ultraflex Supersmooth PET 13oz on the LexJet site, I'm always looking for the material at the best price. Didn't list Latex as a compatible printer, is that the case? The Ultraflex Supersmooth PET 13oz is a better price.
Thanks for the replies. I've got a neighbor at the end of the building that's a big cleaning service that thinks they can replace the bushings on the shop vac. I ordered a encoder, what I'm understanding from the replies is it come with instructions how to pull out the old one.
Hi all:
Two questions:
Has anyone replaced their encoder strip on their HP flatbed? I have the service manual and have successfully replaced printheads and a number of other items but the manual doesn't show instructions on installing encoder strip. Anyone tackled that?
2nd question:
Has...
Hello:
Just replaced my HP L260 (almost 10 years old) with a new HP L365. It came DOA but that's another story for another time. It prints great (now that it's fixed) but I'm having issues with gloss 3M IJ40 and IJ180. I'm getting what appears to be a stretching pattern that kind of snakes it...
You can go into the printer and change the date on the printer which fools it into letting you use expired dates on the ink. I wouldn't recommend using very old ink, but a way to use up slightly expired ink.
I've recently acquired a used Acuity LED 1600. I downloaded the driver from Onyx but it only has a test profile. It way overprints and the test pattern is dark. I've looked online for media profiles with no luck. Any suggestions?
We just bought a used press and the vendor threw in a Acuity LED 1600. We have a wideformat department with a HP latex roll to roll (26500) and a HP500 flatebed. Any ideas where I can get a manual for the Acuity?
