We've had several memorable characters...
We knew one of them only as Six Guns. That's how he introduced himself. He was a Native American(according to him) and drove a yellow Geo Tracker with metal ropes and guns adorning the OUTSIDE of the vehicle. When he parked, he pulled out a hitching...
To the folks advocating window perf, how long do you tell the client it will last? My experiences with the durability of this material has not been very good.
I'd say you got three options:
1. Keep doing what you're doing. (Doesn't meet specs and you can't print it.)
2. Print it on clear, laminate it and apply that to the HI. (Doesn't meet specs but you should have no problem printing it.)
3. Outsource to a company that does this type of work...
I've been checking out for a few months. There's one in Canada but as far as I can tell, they are mostly just in Europe so far.

Do you mean EC film? Those are only available in the same colors that the sheeting itself is available in so if he's trying to hit a different color(that's not available in film or sheeting) then this wouldn't work.
I was thinking about the spec issue. You're not going to meet specs with a...
You could get one of these:

but otherwise, if you got to meet specs, then they'll need to be screened just as Rick has said.
I would talk to Robert M(merchant member here). He's very helpful and can sell you a printhead at a very competitive price as well. We replaced a couple and it's not as difficult as Advantage makes it sound.
Even if you decide to buy a new printer, you're going to need do something in the...
One the chambers of commerce in our area has a leadership program that I was accepted into and just started. From talking to my classmates, many of whom have lived in other cities, they shared that similar programs were offered in the cities that they came from. Maybe you could check to see if...
We use a hand held hole punch for Dibond and Polymetal. We just did over 300 signs this way and it worked perfectly. Ours is a little heavier duty than this one, but it should work just fine:

My point of reference is from using a JV3 for 7+ years in a fast paced shop that outputs on a number of different medias and frequently processes rush orders.
I went to a vendor open house to see a demo of the HP a few weeks ago. My impression of the media loading and unloading along with the...
This is still available and I just dropped the price to $2k to commemorate the two weeks that it has been for sale today. I'm going to post in on some other forums today so come and get it if you're interested!
Regarding touch screens versus keyboards, I really didn't think I would be able to get accustomed to using a touch screen to type but it has been a surprising non issue for me.
I'm firmly a PC guy but it's tough to not strongly consider the iPhone. My wife had one before I did. During that time, I tried not to like it but couldn't keep up the act. When we switched from ATT to Verizon, I sold her 2 year old phone for $200. It's crazy how well they hold their value...
