Wouldn't that show up more as banding or generally a bad looking print? on it's own the print looks to be fine, it's just a different colour.

when you print your panels in versaworks, is "place alternated" selected? this flips every other panel 180 degrees so that the sides that match with each other are printed on the same side of the printer, i've found this helps quite a bit.

is your printer connected directly to your RIP computer, or does it go through your network? If it's direct connect, i would look at the cable itself, or your port settings if it's through the network, hook it up directly.

that print looks worse than I expected given you are only missing 8-9 nozzles. Try running in high quality mode, it may help lessen the issue. If you are not comfortable replacing the head, i would suggest contacting a roland dealer in your area to do it for you, but expect to pay about $2-3k...

it doesn't look horrible. does it show up under normal printing conditions, i.e. can you tell these is an issue on your prints? You can try soaking the head in cleaning fluid, if that doesn't work and it's affecting your output you may need a new head.

That sucks, I've had my fair share of bad employees in the past, but our current batch are really good and add quite a bit of value to the business and have allowed us to take on jobs we previously wouldn't.

No design work without a deposit, especially from new clients. If they have reservations about putting down money before they see something, you can show your past work as an example.

Versaworks sucks with PDF files that have transparencies, it's a well known issue and they have apparently fixed it with versaworks Duo. If your printer is suported by versaworks Duo I would upgrade, if not I would flatten the image and send it as a .tiff

The price difference between a 30" plotter and a 54" one won't be much, but keep in mind that a well made plotter (summa or graphtec come to mind) will outlast your printing equipment by a long shot, so even if you don't have a 54" printer right now, you most likley will in the future and it...

That cutter is garbage, that is your problem. Do a search for it on here and you will see.

Styrene. But the size isn't great for material utilization, not sure of you can get styrene in rolls like polycarbonate?
