The Gerber edge system is awesome if you are doing spot colour decals, anything with full colour will look pretty bad by today's standards, having said that is it pretty much completely maintenance free! we still bust ours out a few times a month to run small decal jobs if our roland is tied up.

a eco-sol or UV printer opens up the possibility of white ink, which if you are doing decals may be worth looking into.

You would be better to letter the vehicle with standard vinyl, and if they insist on it being removable, cut a piece of the easy dot material to go over the decal when they don't want it shown. I've never gotten the appeal of magnets, around here the only reason people use them are to avoid...

Depends on the floor, I can see some vinyls taking the top layer off of a laminate floor,or the clear coat off a gym type floor.

I would expect that any guarantee you would have would go out the window when a client tried to remove their own graphics, who knows how they are doing it.

Most of the specialty finishes in ACM are not rated for outdoor use, I'm not sure about dibond brand as our supplier doesn't carry it, but I know alupanel brand says their brushed finishes are for interior use only.

I would second applying the 2 mil vinyl that you already use to a wrap vinyl and trying that. it will have a longer lifespan than printing and look better as well.

Yes we've used them before, there stuff is pretty good, no issues. The few issues we've had they have been quick to fix. They also do aluminum sign blanks for the lowest price I've found.
