Interesting. I have a HP UV flatbed, and when it goes through it’s automatic printhead maintenance cycle you can smell the ink...especially when standing next to the machine but otherwise no noticeable smell. Maybe because I have a 4,000sf open floor shop with high ceilings?? I also keep yard...

HP latex 365 is a workhouse. I haven’t done anything to it in a almost 3 years, except put ink in it. No maintenance whatsoever. It has yet to let me down. With that being said, I’m not opposed to adding an Epson Surecolor 6 or 8 series to my lineup.

I had the same issue with Flexi19. Ripped fast, bought a new pc that was much beefier, reinstalled the rip and now the rip process takes forever. Ironically it just effected the speed to my HP FB550 and not to the HP latex machines, they still rip about the same speed as before. Weird.

Nah, anything I can print from a roll goes through the Latex 365, it’s better quality (deeper/richer/solid colors), if I didn’t have it, I would opt for the FB roll accessory though.

No real need for the roll-to-roll option on mine since I have HP latex roll-to-roll. As the white option is a $10K upgrade, I couldn’t see the ROI for it so I took it off my order before receiving my 550.

I have a new GFP 363TH roll laminator but am thinking about getting a CWT or Rolls Roller table. Would there be a reason/need to keep the GFP or would the table make it obsolete?

I’m going with the latest and greatest, beefy guts pc’s with lots of memory, my 38” curved WQHD+ 3840x1600 monitors, lightening fast internet, and equipment wise, my Summa F1612 flatbed cutting/routing table.

Do you guys till use a roll-to-roll laminator for vinyl that may come off a latex printer or do you do everything on the rolls roller?
