  1. Flourescent Bulb Length

Changing bulbs is not working on electrical signs, it's a common thing to do when replacing signs faces. - don't replace a sign face if you can't fix the internal electrical components is a pretty dumb statement, that's the equivalent to saying don't fix a flat if you can't replace an...

8 whole years... I can remember waiting for digital printers to enter the sign industry, i have some time in too. your last post sounded more intelligent than your first, but sadly you still shouldn't be advising on someone who is asking about an HP since you clearly don't know jack about...

  6. HP L25500 End of Life :(

your not going to get a trade in on it anyway. Call Brian at LexJet, you can pick up a 315 with a free take up reel for $9999 if you order before the end of the year. The 315 runs much better than the 25500, it is only 54" as opposed to the 60" for the 25500, but I got over that real quick.

-Fake News- first off, there are 6 printheads, they are about 1/10 the the cost of a solvent head and it takes about 3 minutes to change one. 7 cartridges? why does that matter if your changing cartridges that means your using ink which means your making money.... 11. Mounting banners on concrete wall.

hand him the banners & collect your check. tell him you only mount banners the way they are supposed to be hung not being able to drill holes is not your problem. anything more isn't going to work or won't be worth the time. I learned a long time ago to tell the customers what is right and...
  12. Newbie needs a little bet help to find the right printer

What was your profit on the 400 euros? Buying a roached solvent printer will be headaches. You don't print enough for a solvent machine. Honestly, the Gerber is the fit for what you are doing. Tschüss

  14. HP L26500 - Available Profiles are Crappy - Can't Get Good Red!

I find reds to be "fun" to hit, when I print something that has a red in it and it's not quite right I think back to a job that I printed where the red did work well and import the file and i-dropper it in, this works for vector. raster is another story, the tinkering is more extensive...

  19. New HP Latex 115 owner in North Alabama

When you start making signs, and you will, price them accordingly. Don't be one of those guys... large decals for trailers will need to be laminated, better build a shop in the backyard.
