Want to guess how many times I've applied decals the day after a box truck was painted with one-part paint and have never had a problem with adhesion or removing the decals later. :Big Laugh
Seriously people, the guy is just looking for something to make the wrap stick. He's not looking for show quality paint. Tell him to get it sandblasted, hit it with a couple of layers of automotive primer, wet sand it, then spray it with a one-part automotive enamel. Heck, he can do the...
Not that I'm the authority on window splashes but the last couple I did were done with a latex house paint base and craft acrylics over the top of that. When it came time to get it off the window that stuff came off in tiny little chips. It was easy enough to get off, a razor blade went right...
I called a locksmith and asked him what it would cost to have him come out and make a key. He put me on hold for a couple of minutes then gave me the number of a repair guy who is selling us a copy of his universal panel key for $10. Problem solved, thanks.

I've got three gas stations to reletter and part of the project is wrapping the bottom panels of the fuel pumps. The bottom panels unlock and lift off leaving just a nice flattish piece of aluminum with the holes for the nozzles cut out. Removing the doors will allow us to wrap the graphics...
Or ignore all of that, plotter cut the pattern out of paint mask, apply to the wall, paint with disposable foam rollers, remove mask, collect check, go home....all before "the man" gets through playing with his sock full of charcoal. :Big Laugh
Call your DMV and insurance company. They can both answer that pretty quickly.
Here's the answer from the NYCDOT website (because I was bored enough to look it up) http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/motorist/truckorcomm.shtml
My insurance company didn't care if I was using my truck for work...
Yeah, those 2" x 2" spot color decals can be a real *****. We never could keep ours running long enough to turn a profit.
Glad you managed to make some money with yours. You're one of the few from what I've heard.
HEY ROLAND! When are you going to call us back about that refund of the small fortune we lost on your Color Scam debacle? Been waiting on those calls back for what...12 years now?
Roland still sucks.
