the sign looks good BUT the angle and small screws are crap. YOU should have installed an aluminum framing rectangle between the columns and THEN installed their sign onto that using better hardware and no liquid nails. There is no doubt their angles and screws are cheesy as hell and dont get...
Oh yes! the "I thought you were gonna do...customer" DAMN! If he was getting that close in pictures I would go out and remove my sign and not do a damn thing else for him. that is just senseless to waste that much effort on a door sign being particular. Obviously he has nothing better to door
you do not need 2 sets of raceways, your art is showing the capsule attached to main copy by hanging under it, you should be just fine. Open top of raceway and screw into channel on building using large taps screws. Thats actually a good idea for a storefront to keep from getting a million...
this first thing I do is wash the truck with soft scrub...because the customer WILL NEVER do this I dont care how many times you tell them. Soft scrub removes the oxidation, after washing it gets wiped clean with alcohol....WINDEX SUCKS!........you then be ready for install of vinyl. I love...
Never use steel on a sign like this. You would be better with aluminum structure. Steel is going to rust there is no avoiding it. Aluminum would also be easier to create the arch at top also. thats all I use for structures. for the face you could g with .063 and that would suffice

I agree montgomery is a $h__hole town. Everyone is flocking from here as fast as they can. Im sorry you had to see how filthy this place has become it disgusts me! Never used the fast signs for an install but I know a guy that works there
Bulletin colors are the slack a$$ brother of lettering enamels....and since lettering enamels suck I would not dare use bulletin on a sign. I dont understand your comment of color saturation. Latex would be superior to these bulletin colors. They last longer and look better. As far as gallons...
first off reveal their names on that invoice. We all wanna know who these dudes are. Quit hiding stuff.
2nd for me to drive from alabama to texas that sign better be worth $15,000. as far as their invoice they should have never sent that. this whole situation sounds like you got hooked with...
I love these posts cause they always get me in trouble. go take the sign down TRUST ME they will be calling soon to see whats up. At least you got 50% down so you have some leaway. If your scared to do that tell them you will be blasting them on social media. after 34 years of doing signs i...
