does the W800 have a better color consistency from panel to panel? Also, does it keep the right size? On my L260, with a 9ft long print, I could loss up to an inch. It's been a real problem for murals and align pannels.
Is seems the Avery sf100 true shadow is discontinued. I'm looking for a similar product (like a tinted vinyl to install on vehicle). Does anyone know a manufacturer that make someting similar to that?
Thanks Ben.
I've been able to manually cut the material outside of the registration mark (1/8 around) to expose the white liner. Then the cutter is able to read the registration mark. Depending on how many you have to do, it would be a quick solution for short runs.
Thanks. For the lamination part, we only laminate once a month and it's smaller than the lenght of the table. I think it does not justify to buy a roll-to-roll laminator just for that. I also like the kala have 3 pressure setting. If I remember right, the other ones don't have this feature.
I will look into it. I will try to find a dealer here in Canada.
The lamination in the video is the perfect example of what I'm doing. With this, I would be done before loading and feeding a regular laminator.
Maybe I'm mistaken, but I think the colex is a rebrand of the CWT. Can you give me a feedback about laminating vinyl with it? What is the size of you table?
So far, I'm between CWT and Kala. We don't have a laminator now and laminate maybe once a month. So I go to a friend shop. But I would like to use the table to laminate when needed.
My kala rep told me the lamination is not a problem. I even got a feedback from one of his customer that really...
oh! I've got two friends that have the roll laminators and it's a verry great machine. But I'm wondering for the flatbed that I never found a user yet.
Here is a link to the product: https://www8.hp.com/ca/en/printers/large-format/latex-featured-products.html?jumpid=va_84a4fde1cd&fbclid=IwAR32b9ldKrSVCNwZ3GqWAV72od_MljVL9V4BT9IaRBJX--bjCew48452OT0
Kala is intersresting and I can add lengh in the future. But I never found a user feedback.
Strangely, it's the CWT distributor here in Canada that told be he would not recomment the table for lamination. I've got a friend that have a first gen of the rollsroller and said he would never...
I don't remember the last time I needed to laminate over 10ft long. So if the flatbed can do it, I would use it. The bridge is not a deal breaker, but if I can avoid it, I would prefer to. The rollsroller premimum model seems to check all my boxes exept the bridge and motorized part.
I'm doing my homework for a flatbed application table. Here are the criteria I would like to have.
No bridge over the roller
60in wide minimum. A 64in or a bit more would be great.
Longer than 10ft. I would like to have around 15ft.
Have the possiblitily to laminate vinyl. That mean I would...
