Just be careful with BOTW. If you find the logo there you should check the quality. You may end up having to clean up or redraw/trace. There are quite a bit of autotraced or poor quality versions on there.

a gradient can only be linear or radial in Illustrator. You likely cannot do this in Illustrator. This function is much easier in Photoshop and there are numerous tutorials online for this

Was this a file you received via email or something you created? If from an email have that person resend the file or place into a zip file first and then resend. Sometimes emails will corrupt an eps or ai file

I would be willing to pay for an add-on that can do an extruded shadow effect like in Omega. One that is vinyl friendly and can be cut. The blend tool, no matter how many repeats you use does not provide you with a clean extruded shadow. I wish Adobe would innovate more with the new features...
