Unfortunately don't know how to use FineCut or Rasterlink but if you're able to change the cut order like you can do in Flexi, that may help with starting your job at the front end rather than it going all the way to the back end.

"clear" in the sense that, you can see it from both sides. the client was happy :) I printed it on the Mutoh Value-Jet 1624 though I wonder if it would have been fine on our HP Latex.
UGHHH I'd hate to watch videos of all these.
Non-job related but was at the job site. We unloaded and were waiting for someone on our team to speak to the client, had our transit back doors open and I sat down, bringing my leg back.. I thought something bit me! No.. turns out the exhaust was...
LOL reading your other posts, your boss almost sounds like my boss. Luckily, we've grown since I've started but sometimes I still feel the same way T_T.
oh welp. good luck with the new job!
Signed up originally in 2016 but I guess I missed the New Members forum!
My name is ClarizeYale (or Clarize/Claire for short) and I am the production manager for a sign shop in SF. Aside from printing, I am also an illustrator/artist.
We print and install graphics for vehicle wraps/signage...
Hi! I'm so sorry I never responded! This will be an update from what I previously said :P
We've stopped using our Epson as it started becoming very fickle (would load then every time there'd be a scuff. Miraculously would load and print and no scuff. Send next job.. SCUFF. UGH.) The white is...
I think the longest run for me has been about 15ft, more or less. these aren't my favorite as they took some time getting used to.
What I've gotten our team to do is to make sure they trim off the excess lam hanging off the edge as I've had jobs not even wanting to run because of these (almost...
We currently have the Epson Surecolor 70675 that can print white and metallic inks. We currently have the metallic inks disabled but the white has been an adventure so far! We've had a few mishaps but overall, we like the capability.
It needs to be lightly cleaned/maintained everyday but we...
Oh interesting. I believe we can have multiple layers (more than 3) as well but I'm not entirely sure yet how to make certain objects not have an undercolor. We've just recently been messing with printing on clear with white ink which is why we've tackled this job. Flexi can be kind of...
We use Pro Vehicle Outlines and on rare occasions, Bad Wraps.
PVO - They're great, easy to use and mask in illustrator, and only rarely do I have an issue with measurements. If they don't have an outline of a vehicle online, they're super speedy in getting you an outline so great customer...
Thanks for the response guys.
We have a Epson SureColor 70675 that can print white and in layers.
This is going on store front windows, second surface application. The small skull and name are going on the front doors. The large gray skull will be large and applied on the door window and...
I tried printing on wallfrog once and this happened as well. Had headstrikes and everything. When this happens, I do a combination of clamps and/or weights to weigh the material down, edge guards (comes with the printer), and/or even feed it so it's taut on the take up reel....
But none seemed...
Hello!
I have a really fun project coming up that requires me to print on clear vinyl with multiple layers. We have an Epson SureColor 70675 and I use Flexi 12/Production Manager to print.
I know how to set up the file to have 1 layer of color.
I know how to set up the files to have 2...
