For pre-painted aluminum use a downcut bit and turn your bit rotation to counter clockwise. Should get better edge quality overall.

I figured it out. In the tool set up dialogue I changed the down depth to .02" and it left the backside alone. As for why? We are producing an exhibit for recycling build materials that is print and cut Eagle Cell. Each of the materials has a shelf to set an example on.

Looking over your pictures, it looks more like a prep failure. The installers didn't clean the area well enough and basically applied to dirt. As water built up on the lower ledge + calendared vinyl returning to shape = failure. For the building sign..no clue other than didn't prep the aluminum...

In Acrobat DC there is a Print Production tool that allows you to see your color breakdowns. We use it to preflight our files before sending them to the rips as it shows the Spots.

Is your color type still set to Spot Color? We have it switch occasionally with our prepress library due to opening preferences.
