Teslin by PPG works pretty well. Has a slight learning curve that's comparable to printing on banner. As far as suppliers, where are you located? We get ours from Sun Supply, that serves the Pacific Northwest.

It looks like maybe 3 total layers? Layer one is the OEM graphics that have had a panel installed over the top (layer ) and then another layer of decals to update the verbiage once again. FWIW, FAA graphics compliance is for pressurized cabins.
Only issue I've ever had was due to our vendor not realizing they gave us interior grade. Other than that, it's been our go to especially for routed signs as we can rout it with the Colex's 3.5 HP spindle.
We use SDI tack rollers with DRS-1 pads. After the pad runs out we move on to pre-mask since it's A LOT less expensive. With the 12" roller we can clean as the media is going into the laminator.
