I think you are going to need AI6 or 5 to create the file, and also you are "importing" not opening right?

I think full color transfers that are outsourced can be a better deal - or say a direct to film printer DTF would be hecuava lot less maintenance.

Here are my results. The overprint on silver medal - middle one didn't do full overprint for some reason. Honestly none are really that special, or pop- out. Trans red over silver looks decent. The true Red medal would look the best if you want the chrome look.

If you re-draw the file and it cuts fine - sounds like the file issue, or if you have a spooler, maybe it was trying to cut a previous job that layout out was slightly different

that machine likely will have a harder time with stencil material - what is the material name and thickness you are trying to cut?
