People are so vague with their questions but seem to expect their peers to magically provide answers. I'll never understand this. Details and photos are always extremely helpful.
We use nothing but Orafol and a few 3M products, namely lots of 210 and 290 laminates and I haven't noticed any weird smell. Matter of fact, I've always liked Orafol products because they have always been about the least smelly of any of the products I've used over the years. Is this a VERY...
Actually, the correct conversion is .0625", so a calculator won't tell you that. ;)
I thought that he may have been just estimating the thickness because from my experience, as we have supplied thousands of these for a local seed dealer, they are .040" thick, at least in our situation. That's...
If we don't want seams to show as much with ACM, we just use a 2-3" strip of aluminum at each butt seam and apply two strips of VHB tape all the way down them to join the two sheets. Just pre-install the aluminum strip on the adjoining edge of one panel, then mount the next panel with a few...
It's .040" polystyrene. We actually do a very large number of these for a Channel seed dealer because they like their company name on their seed crates.
It's not like someone wants to put gold leaf on an ACM sign panel. In my opinion, trim cap is an economy material as well and goes hand in hand with an ACM sign. Why not frame a sign in and dress it up some if it seems appropriate? I don't think trim cap looks bad at all. It's a modest upgrade...
Convex Gear Wrap with matching Convex laminate is what I would recommend and what a lot of manufacturers use for these types of decals. You want something ideally around 20 mil thick for helmets that take a lot of impact.
Try Grimco. We get both 3mm and 6mm edge cap in both white and black. However, our Grimco branch is in Springfield, Illinois, the same town where Nudo products are made and they might just order the edge cap from Nudo. It wouldn't hurt to call them and see if your local branch carries both sizes.
Unless there's something I'm not familiar with, you would need a latex or eco-solvent printer, at the very least. The Roland BN-20 is your cheapest entry level option starting at $8,500.
Here's the option we went with in our shop. These are tinted screens that roll up or down. The quality of these things is excellent, as we have many days when someone comes through the door and the wind hits them, but the film doesn't kink or scuff no matter how bad it gets whipped around. I...
I can totally relate to this. We do have steep rush fees like as much as 100% of the cost of your order for same day service, but I rarely charge a rush fee on banners. They are one of the easiest and fastest products to turn around quickly.
We charge as much as $7.50 per sq. ft. for a few sq. ft., or as little as $4.50 per sq. ft. for 144 sq. ft. plus (of the same design). We include design as part of the price as long as there are no custom art requirements. If we can do it with basic copy/clip art/stock photography, that's what...
