I would want to do this on the cnc as well.Never blasted extira but I would imagine it to be a PIA. Especially trying to get a decent depth.Nothing irritates me more than a customer that wants to dictate how something should be done.Give them 2 prices one for doing it in foam and double for...
I would tell them your sign your 15 year old sign is junk and you need a new one. If they don't trust and value that diagnosis I would wish them good luck with their newfound miracle solution sign makers
Here is a blade sign we just did.Through the wall bolt mount is always the best way but we could not on this one. This is what a structural engineer spec'd out... with out the guy wires.
You can attach your letters to the PVC with the proper 3m vhb. If you have doubts about that you can check with the tech people at 3m they are very helpful and will verify this. The sign could remain a "swing sign" just not with chains.Eye bolt to eye bolt so it's not flopping around in the wind...
There is a difference. On the ribbon It's the size of the holes where the flame comes out. There are 2 different brass inserts. One for natural one for artificial
Here is what I do.......You want me to install a sign for you. Ok it will x amount of dollars. Send the check along with the sign. Tape it to the the sign face for safe keeping and we will get er done for you.
You could drill a small hole in the coro 1/32' and use fishing line. Looks better than drawing the eye to a smooshed up grommet. Unless that nasty looking thing in the corner is part of your design.
Also, the material that your sign is made has nothing to do with what makes it a "nice" sign.
$2,500 FOR THE JV33. Has an extra set inks too. Like I said has some noozle missing but the machine is clean & prints well. You would have to drive to New Jersey with a truck to pick it up.
I have a very clean jv 33 that has a few nozzles out on the test draw but it still prints fine. Need to get rid of it to make way for a new printer so I'm willing to sell it cheap
So a roll of vinyl fell over and hit the printer cable. Now the computer does not see the printer. Does not appear to be any damage to the port it plugs into. I have tried the obvious new cable reboots etc. Any ideas
