How many UV printer offer multiple flexible inks? There's usually 1 of each. maybe an in-between. Not hard to get samples and make a decision.

There isn't many flatbed + R2R machines out there. it's either one or the other. And if it was a dual use machine, you'd opt for the more flexible ink. For example, we have samples from the swissqprint nyala 3. one was a 100gsm poster paper. scrunched it up with minimal cracking.

Why, Flatbed = rigid ink R2R = flex ink But most "rigid" inks are quite flexible anyway, from what i've tested in the last few years.

i think you're limited in layout tool. i tired it on Tuesday till i gave up. layout tool also doesn't give me cut marks for our Fotoba so useless to me.

I did variable data though illustrator. It was actually very easy. I found the tutorial on YouTube. Basically you create a text. turn it into a variable data then create an action. Create your spreadsheet with data import the data run the action and it's done.
