That's very interesting!
The only person the sales tax should affect is the end user as they're paying for it. as it's usually a markup on the final price?
this is interesting, i would have thought there's sales tax on any goods and service that's sold.
If im suppling a product to another company to resell, i still need to charge GST (Goods and services tax) and then the reseller needs to add tax (gst) on top of that.
What's the final product?
It's pretty mind blowing how fast it can go. With some small tweaks, it can be very sellable.
It just lacks density.
The dot sizes are also quite large.. im sure the latex guys think it's normal ;)
As we promote people to search for old threads instead of starting new ones. Thats what one of the posters did, asked a question in an old thread to someone who had a solution ;)
Helps reading though the post.
Well done to Patric and the team at Digitec. That's an awesome pair of automation. That's at least 1 less operator needed to transport the stock over to finishing.
IF you dont print enough and it's costing you to not print, you're far better off outsourcing your prints. From a good shop, you'll get better quality and it'll cost you less.
You wont be replacing print heads as often as the rest of the printers.
The service contract is not really needed, but always recommended for the first year to solve any hiccups etc.
The colorado is on another level compares to the other 2 machines. Go get demos.
There's websites like this already:
https://www.whatfontis.com/
https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
The thing is, There are so many custom fonts out there created by different people. A font finder wont know EVERY font. It wont know the fonts Johnny created if they're not in the data base...
Im not at work, but where you choose the media that's loaded on the colorado on the rip, there should be a gear or something. you click it and gives you the option to update media on the colorado.
try that next time.
100%
We where 3 months into the Colorado at the time.
Absolutely. We’ve got the high speed version, so for that job it was cutting each roll In to posters with in 10 minutes each.
In a day, or largest single customer order?
longest day print run would have been around 600m / 12 rolls.
longest single order print run would have been around 2500m / 50 rolls
and all finished on the fotoba.
