i have always been able to draw, paint, sculpt... i consider myself very artistic. but the majority of sign work (even the nicer stuff) only requires a good eye and layout ability. i have seen great logos and signs by people who could hardly draw at all... i have seen terrible things too...

sign pic here is one sign i'm quoting it is supposed to be 4' x 10.5' the other is a rectangle 3x11... if i can't hide a seam i think i may try to convince them to go with 10ft (if they make 10ft HDU) they would like a sandblasted sign so HDU may be my only choice.

one sign is 3x11 and another is 4x11. so you would back them with dibond and glue together only?

i have a request for a 11 foot HDU sandblasted sign... do they make it that size or do i have to make a blank? if the blank has to be made are there any methods anyone want to share?

check out simulated process... it uses off the shelf inks and you get better results on darks. most shirts you see on darks at concerts are simulated prooess. there are programs that will seperate for you from photoshop (fast films, t seps, quick seps... etc) but it helps to have a...

Jim i am pretty sure you are who i spoke with a few years back when we switched to the megaink CMYKOG... you built the profiles for us for the roland. You were extremely helpful back then and i thank you for your help then. is there still a mega ink presence in the US? i can't ever get in...

i am thinking about converting our roland sc540 back to ecosol... we are currently using MegaInk CMYKOG and i love the color gamut but tech support number is disconnected and the smell and fumes are too much. also the megaink doesn't seem to hold up to UV as well as the original inks. anyone...

can you sand blast a rock/boulder with sandblast mask? and if so are there some recommendations or suggestions from someone more experienced than i?

i fixed it... i had to adjust the locking mechanism (the pate with a push pin that locks the head on the sc540) so that when the head has the * symbol during the process it will be locked by the mechanism.
