OK i left the dampers unconnected from the print head and it didn't appear that the ink level went down... and the dampers seem to relax when i let off of the syringe, so does that mean the carts?
i thought the dampers have valves that allow ink to flow only one way? or is the valve on the opening connected to the print head? and what do you mean reverse flush the lines if the dampers don't relax?
Yes he did and i got it back working better but still not perfect. i think i may still have air in the lines or can air get in the cartridges and screw it all up?
i'm gonna get new orings, but i have changed out everything else already ... ugh!!! this really sucks!
they want to be able to reuse it.
i checked out the amtek link... it says velcro. has anyone print there own and use velcro? it seems that it might hold too well and hurt one of the poor cheerleaders.
i've got a request for a run thru football banner.. you know the cheerleaders hold it up then the team runs thru it..
has anyone done one of these? and if so how? did you do it in 2 piece held by tape or velcro or in more pieces?
i'm having the ink starvation issues.. changed out the maintenance station, dampers, pump, etc... then i hear about the carts..
i'm using coroplast wedged in under the carts to hold them in..
really sucks. i would not buy another mutoh either...
yes the tech at signwarehouse was unbelievable! he gave me a free part... i did buy the printer from them almost 3 years ago but he really went above and beyond.
i will be giving them more of my business now for sure..
i'll get in touch with them about the o-rings...
when i described my...
randya... back to my other issues with colors.. if i get a good seal when i pull ink could there be an air leak? and if so how do i find it?
and where would i get those tiny orings if i needed them?
wow... just got off the phone with signwarehouse and he said that if he could get the board with the screen off an old printer he has .. he would just give it to me!!
keeping my fingers crossed!
i can pull ink and it is very hard to pull the syringe so i thought i must have everything tight?
on a worse note i cracked the display screen! can i get that part any where?
i thought i had this thing figured out.. wrong. i replaced maintenance station and all dampers and i get a good seal if i want to pull ink with a syringe. the first time i pulled ink i could see the dampers filling up so i knew i had a good vaccum seal. but now i can not get all the colors to...
that is so true! i was like that the first time i tried this sign biz on my own.. went out of business in a short time and lost money.
now i am giving it a second go after working at some other shops.. i am the highest price in my area most of the time and i don't get all the jobs but i am...
the idea is pretty decent.. but the font looks like it has been stretched or something weird going on with it. and i agree a house would be better than a cityscape.
color is a complex subject.. but first thing make sure you are using the same input profile for all your software. (i think flexi's default is adobe rgb1998).... so all your software's settings should be that the same. for less thinking about it use sRGB on everything. or you do all designs...
