I think humans are more exposed to EVERYTHING too often. more crap, more junk and more fonts and more bling. I hear a lot of "I saw this or I saw that and it looked cool." Its just like that stupid script font I absolutely despise...Bromella or whatever other 50 names it goes by. People see...
DELL XPS systems IMO are the best hands down. get you a refurb or a used one. Mine is a little over 10 years old and it still is running great. I think it has the i4, which at the time was top gun.
I do like the idea of not hooking your production pc to the web, that way there are no pointless...
Great timing for this post! I am doing a sign package for a fire station in a neighboring town and they sent me a public safety shield....a damn jpeg, of course. I have already redid 75% of this shield because I dont want crap on my signage. I have informed the fire cheif, and the construction...
Covering their overly regulated bureaucratic a$$es. Yes, its stupid, pointless, waste of time and brain cells, welcome to working in the new century. Make a call and show then a COI and be done with it
I would not mind having a towable boom but those things are so damn herky jerky, bout sling you out of the cage to move 1 foot but at this point in my biz i wouldnt invest money
yeah, I believe it Ive owned 2 trucks and got rid of 2 trucks, I got so sick of this breaking, that leaking, that not starting and then that leaking again...I RENT and dont regret it. Heavy equipment is PITA and I even took care of my stuff
You hit the nail on the head, down here in Montgomery same situation its all about price no one cares about good looking signage. It will certainly kill your spirit.

I have placed banners on the sides of tractor trailers with 3M dual lock velcro. We have done about 5 of these and they never came off. This would be the system I would suggest. You literally have to pound the banner into the velcro using a small mallet until it pops in. Assuming the surface...
Grimco used to be solid when they first came around. But NEVER as solid as Aluma panel. Alumapanel was hands down my suppier for years. if they didnt have it they could get it. Grimco came in bought them out and let all the good employees go. Dropped all prices and then the issues started...
I can only hope when the sign co that originaly did this fought tooth and nail and tried to explain to this ingrate that saying everything you offer is not a good thing. Also since customer said "it has lights" also means ballast and wiring is shot to hell and most bulb sockets dont work...
You must be referring to the neon in this old sign...DAMN what some letters! I would say each letters is about 4' tall. I love the ladder implicated into the sign, I bet OSHA wont not be amused by that these days. This was back when real people built stuff without BS regulations
I always make a disclaimer IF Im hanging something I was not involved with knowing the manufacturer products, Im not responsible for the cabinet itself
Once you get that puppy on the wall it will be good to go! I get all my stuff from sign builders in bham. they do pretty damn good cabinets BUT I have taken down cabinets before that were very flimsy but once you get them on the wall thats what counts. get it up deal with it not your...
