specs are usually outdated and no one pays attention, use whatever high performance vinyl you want, no one will ever know. I always do comparable materials
http://www.letterfab.com they are located in LA and of course there will be freight but shouldnt be terribly bad. I was using sign builders but think Im switching
We just took down some neighborhood signage and replace with some more ornamental signage. The street signs were fiberglass which was a shock to me as I never see this anymore, they were put up before the housing market crash around 2005. I found several libnks to fiberglass but those links...
If they were to bring in a crappy trailer but it would be decent money I would probably accommodate the art to "cover" most of his trailer damage from earlier decal. If he went for the price, good.....if not, so be it. The only thing I pretty mush say a firm "No" to is rush jobs or jobs with a...
for bare sheetrock you can use a flat interior paint and then I prefer matte or eggshell BEHR for topcoat. Theres no sense in running out to New Look and overpaying for paint you dont need
Gino, as many years as you claim to be in business and always offering advice to EVERYONE that posts your layouts suck. That sign you posted was absolute crap I dont care if it was quickie or not. You should know better than that since you are always taking everyone else to task. And if thats...
I wanna know who the hell layed this out, its horrible! Ive done several Century 21 and Ive never known them to "stray" from these new colors, tell him to put some inflatable animals near the sign.
Now as far as this crappya$$ layout tell Uncle Guido to drop one of those numbers and clean that...
why can you not make your sign a little longer and just "miss" the concrete pad that way all you have to do is tear down sign and bricks and place sign over existing pad to cover it. Brick bust up easy with sledgehammer. I see no reason why the pad would need to come up
Also when you get quote...
IF you cant get away with 3mil pvc i would drill holes slightly larger than screws and start at top and do NOT screw all the way down. Come down halfway and do 2 more and then to bottom. I would not use any adhesive you want to "hang" this sign on the screws if that makes any sense
One thing we do with patterns is tape all the edges, this gives the patterns some strength with not tearing. Gorilla tape works great, I like the white as the heat will not affect it and let go like the black. We deal with intense heat in alabama. If you can BEAT that tape onto the surface...
when you say silicone doesnt stick to crap, what crap are you referring to? I tried Lexel and Im not a fan, I will stick to silicone as it has never failed me. The ONLY time it failed was when there was a huge bad bacth released and you could tell as soon as it came out of the tube
without buying 1 pallet of each color. I thought for sure I could by this by the yard but I have found nothing. If anyone knows or if you have this you would like to sell to me I would be very interested
Oh the irony! I am dealing with the Army Corps of Engineers also on a project in Bham and they also sent PDF (that were jpegs) and told me thats what they send to all their vendors and no one has had any issues. This project started in february of this year TO THIS DATE i still have no art I...
