Colors on chrome or chrome lettering on anything work the same.
Old sign guy taught me this decades ago. Chrome is like a mirror and mirrors only reflect dark not light.
If you put dark on chrome it's going to disappear.
Same as if you put chrome lettering on a black or dark vehicle...
Wow! Watched a video last night where all kinds of helicopters are flying food and supplies in to 250 people cut off from everything. Terrible that things like this happen.
What about refurbishing what you have? Be in it for less than the cost of new and you won't have to learn a new printer. I bet that SolventInkjet guy could help ya out.;)
For alignment with this type of install I add a full width rectangular line to the file(s). Prevents using the base of lettering to line things up. After you're done strip off the line.
Time for the driver to put the pipe down. I've lettered a lot of dump trucks and semis and did some not that long ago, wasn't told to reverse anything.
I have a 1624x but was considering a 1641. Sorry for any confusion. As far as being told 12 can't run a 1641 make sure. Lot's of people assume things without actually checking.
I bought an unlocked version of 12 with my printer and have been very happy with it. Truth be told if my Flexi 8.5 pro would have driven the Mutoh I would have used that. Not a fan of having the latest thing as it usually comes with a lot of issues.

If it runs on kero it should run on ULSD(ultra low sulfur diesel) The heater I have is ancient and was supposed to be kero only but that got stupid expensive. About that time ULSD hit the market so I gave it a try and been running it ever since. YMMV.
Get ya self one or two of these: https://spaceray.com/lts-series/
Can't go wrong. Sealed, explosion proof combustion which is important. I use mine to cure paint or "cook" vinyl onto vehicles/panels.
I have two of the small units in the shop. Maintenance consists of taking the leaf blower to...
Check the easy stuff first.
Has any other equipment been having power related issues? If not then you can probably rule out the supply end of things.
Just to be sure test the outlet with a multimeter to make sure it's supplying correct voltage.
Get a plug in tester to make sure there are no...
BOOM!!! This right here^^^^^ On point!!! Gold star and whatever other accolades and kudos appropriate for this response.
I decided a long while back I'm not going to chase every dollar or be rushed. I do things on my time line and if that isn't good enough then walk. Absolutely incredible...
