Vinyl or vinyl with laminate is per square foot which takes into account all other expenses.
Industrial labels are per square inch since I use VDP to populate info fields.
Don't touch it, if you do it's a potential lawsuit waiting to happen. Bring it to the dealer and make sure you get copies of all paperwork with sign offs.
"More professional like a poster"...LOL. Since you sub out get this: Matte flatbed print on foam pvc.
My in house method: Print on 3640 matte then apply to foam pvc. Nice high end look.
Probably normal, clean it up and keep printing. My printer has plastic ramps on each side of the head. Doesn't take a lot of running to get them dirty.
Try running the same print with a canned profile for matte material. Sounds weird but for certain materials it works a treat.
Can also try uni-directional. It covers up a lot of head issues.
So far I've been able to get the things I need but it's taking longer each time. Wrap kits are no longer kits. Vinyl from one spot, laminate from another. My last order came from four different warehouses and took almost a week. Not that long ago I could order before noon and have everything...
Color management and Profiling.
Profiling for me is a dark art. Should be completely automated but it isn't. Tweaks by an experienced user are still required to get spot on color.
Sounds like Onyx does the same thing as Flexi. Phooey. Only way around it then is to panel it myself which takes more time than offsetting the print at lamination.
Last place I worked for went strictly temp agency for new hires. If you were worth it you got offered a permanent spot. If you didn't work out you were sent packin' with no HR issues whatsoever. Yeah, the temp agency gets a cut, but it's a small price to pay for the convenience of "try before...
54" and I poll size before doing anything. Although normally on 54' media I manually set it to 52" then check the panels. I thought it may have been an artifact in the client supplied file, but it did the same thing with a file built completely in Flexi. Print starts 5mm from right side of...
I've been through all the menus and clicked center on media in the general tab and again in the panels tab. Still prints tight to the right margin. I prefer to have it centered then if it skews a bit when laminating the panels are still usable. It's been a while printing wraps but I don't...
