Vinyl or vinyl with laminate is per square foot which takes into account all other expenses. Industrial labels are per square inch since I use VDP to populate info fields.

You're missing a major step which is sub it out and save yourself a bunch of trouble.

Don't touch it, if you do it's a potential lawsuit waiting to happen. Bring it to the dealer and make sure you get copies of all paperwork with sign offs.

I've never used Caldera but ran Onyx for a while. Stick with Caldera. ;)

"More professional like a poster"...LOL. Since you sub out get this: Matte flatbed print on foam pvc. My in house method: Print on 3640 matte then apply to foam pvc. Nice high end look.

Probably normal, clean it up and keep printing. My printer has plastic ramps on each side of the head. Doesn't take a lot of running to get them dirty.

Try running the same print with a canned profile for matte material. Sounds weird but for certain materials it works a treat. Can also try uni-directional. It covers up a lot of head issues.

Color management and Profiling. Profiling for me is a dark art. Should be completely automated but it isn't. Tweaks by an experienced user are still required to get spot on color.

Sounds like Onyx does the same thing as Flexi. Phooey. Only way around it then is to panel it myself which takes more time than offsetting the print at lamination.

I've been through all the menus and clicked center on media in the general tab and again in the panels tab. Still prints tight to the right margin. I prefer to have it centered then if it skews a bit when laminating the panels are still usable. It's been a while printing wraps but I don't...
