  1. Need Help VG-540 Print Head Issues

Did you replace the damper? If a damper fill doesn't fix it, the damper needs replacement.
  2. Print on Latex 335 & cut on Roland XC 540

I don't think so. The Roland marks are generated by the printer.
  3. UV Long Drop Printing

What depht are you talking about? The smaller the drop size, the less distance between printheads and medium is possible. The drops are deflected by static or air draft and are shot at an angle because of the moving carriage. I don't know of a printer, that uses heads with very large drops nowadays.
  4. Roland RF640

    Replace the printhead.
  5. How to adjust tension/pull force of take-up reel? (XR-640)

There is no way to reduce tension out of the box. But if you adjust the straightness of the takeup, it can help.(try to even out the distance from the print platen(pinch rollers actually, but they are hard to measure) to the takeup roll.)

  10. Issue with Initial Media Load on HP Latex 315 - Endless Spooling and Extended Calibration Time

Could be the media presence sensor in back of the machine. I had such a strange loading behaviour once on a L570 and it finally was a dirty sensor. (You will need to remove both side covers and the back panel to access it.)
  11. HP 360 Print problem

Can you rule out a feed problem? If yes, it could be the maintenance cartridge.(contaminate the color heads with optimizer. This instantly clogs the heads. But you should see that in the nozzle test print) I have seen the rubber on the feed roller getting slippery and needs cleaning. (Pretty...
  12. Roland Plotter Pen

Those are HP pens like for the HP7475 some 40 years ago. If you want mileage and no dry-up, buy a Mimaki ball pen. They come with the latest UCJV330 for example.
  13. Color problem on Roland SP-540I

Truerich2 or 3 in Versaworks 6 should do the trick. Be sure not to select "preserve primary colors".

  17. Question What’s the Best Humidity and Temperature for a UV Printers?

Try to reach 45-50%. You will have less electrostatic issues. For humidifiers, if you use a ultrasonic atomizer, use demineralized water.
  18. Latest and Greatest Updates

For all MS bashers and Apple-hypers During the time I'm in the sign business(1988-now), Apple not only changed their OS often to a point leaving all your application software useless, they also switched the external hardware (SCSI, FireWire, USB, Tunderbolt...) and CPU's (68000, PowerPC, Intel...
  19. Unknown serial number

Maybe the dealer, that originally sold it, has a Peck file. (I always pull a Peck file, when I install or service a printer) Or Roland can tell you, if the printer was registered.
