Well, I learned a lesson yesterday/today...
I got a call from one of theach local pubs late yesterday, and the young lady asked if I was available to create a couple of small signs, and she made it sound urgent. She explained that she needed a sign saying that no alcoholic beverages beyond...
I heard about these guys from sign amigo... I've never ordered from them...

That is so awesome. Congratulations on the newest addition.
My oldest stepson had his first 7 months ago, and since this is my ol' lady & my first grandchild (a girl), we are stoked....best thing that happened to us...
And as far as wishing for a girl or boy, like I told my step son...
I have a box truck to letter, and the customer wants a large panel (top half) of the box a black background.
Now my question. The panel is 41 1/4" x 119" (with rivets). So my question is: for a solid black background, should I use Oracal 751 vinyl, or should I look at a black wrap film. If...
Does anyone have a dependable source for external lighting for a sign?
I have a sign that I just sold, and now the customer is asking about lighting it. The sign is 24" x 111" and consists of a routed PVC logo on one end, and brushed aluminum Gemini letters on the other. I would like a...

The only thing to watch is where the poles butt together sometimes will want to bunch and wrinkle, but it can be worked out.
If I get a chance, I will get out and take a...
Seriously? Gator board?
Just order a banner wrap. I just did a 10' × 20', and ordered it from indy imaging. They are 13 oz, and they add about 8" and a pole pocket on all 4 sides. Took 2 men less than an hour to take the old wrap off, and install the new one... do take new ratchet...
Another thought that just came to me, if you want a true wooden letter, 13" is going to be expensive, depending on the wood used... my local specialty wood shop has wood boards, but I'm not sure 14 or 15 inches wide.... you may have to have them built out (I'm not even sure what you call it)...
Anyone with a CNC router. If I was doing them in house, I would route in reverse, and mill out an area for the LEDs to lay into. That way I could plunge stud holes for mounting.
You can ask 10 different sign people and get 15 different opinions.
Personally I buy from Fellers, a little from Harbor Sales, occasionally from NGlantz, and I used to buy from Grimco....
I worked at a company that screen printed sign faces prior to forming, so the principles are the same.
First, the molds are female, because when you heat the prints, and lay them on the wood to form, it will damage the image.
The thing that a lot of people don't realize is the...
