  1. Any ideas on a vinyl type for this?

What you want to use for this project is a product called Gerber LexEdge. It is made for Gerber machines out of a very thin semi-rigid lexan material. It is scratch proof also and has a PERMANENT adhesive that you apply after reverse-printing the decal. We make a lot of them here for control...
  2. HP360 Lamination Problems

We had color issues, it could not print consistent color without major "oversight" and constant tweaking. We print a LOT and a lot of solid colors. When we had to print patch/repair panels, they never matched and we ended up reprinting whole wraps. This issue scares me back away from thinking...
  3. thoughts on non-oem ecosol ink?

I've ran a lot of different printers; every one that has ran non-oem inks has had nozzle clogging issues and head drop outs during printing, every one that has ran oem-inks haven't had these issues. Eventually these clogs lead to (premature) head replacements which negate the saving of running...
  4. HP360 Lamination Problems

Thank you for sharing the video. We had a latex 360 here and got rid of it, we couldn't trust it for our primary business (wraps) and ended up going to Epson printers.
  5. Suggestions Is there a choice............ ??

Yes it would work ok, especially if you laminated it first.
  6. HP360 Lamination Problems

Too much optimizer, there are other threads on here with the same issue. The newer model supposedly does it more than the 360 does.
  7. Master Laminator wrinkling

Sounds like too much pressure to me also, back off a bit on the pressure, I like it just barely snug.
  8. Best banner for wrapping truss structure

Stretch with grommets sounds like you would have issues when the wind hits it. I think the "stretch banner" is for the tradeshow backdrop stuff where stuff gets stretched over lightweight frames. For outdoor stuff like this you're gonna want to just use regular old 13oz banner; whatever's...
  9. Iridescent AND solvent compatible?

You could try printing on some Dichoric film? I'd bet it'd be printable. I'd love to print white on some, but haven't had a job that I could try it out on. 3M™ Dichroic Films for Architectural Laminated Glass | 3M United States
  10. Best banner for wrapping truss structure

We've used a lot of regular old 13oz banner with grommets for this type of project. The main issue we've had is that no one can work a tape measure correctly.
  11. Need Help Roll-to-Roll Lamination

You'll hardly ever have perfect lamination, it always walks a little bit kind of like all take-up rolls do on roll-to-roll printers. I'm not sure why you'd have to have PERFECT lamination, but most people aren't doubling up on 3M 1080 either... I would really recommend you take a look at the GFP...
  12. 48 x 120 fully flooded dusted crystal installation

A laminator isn't going to scratch the acrylic, sliding it around on a table might.
  13. 48 x 120 fully flooded dusted crystal installation

MacTac B-Free Dusted Crystal. Good stuff, air-release, dry install.
  14. Need Help GSP Plot 5.0 issues

I would probably just re-install the Composer software.
  15. Unsatisfactory overspray/text quality printing with HP Latex 370

Looks like a printhead issue to me, but its been a while since we had our latex.
  16. Imageclub10!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taylor, so your image/software package is a different package than what ImageClub10 offers? Is it a competing company? I didn't name any names in my post that you quoted.
  17. Customer Pulled Over

If you add a service body (or cap) to a pickup it has no rear window visibility at all. It is an odd law, but it is a law, so nothing you can do about it. I would just let customers know when you quote them that the law states it, but it is rarely enforced. I've never ran into this before, but I...
  18. onix 10 and epson s30670

There are different versions of Onyx, but I think all should have the options for different crop marks. On the first page of the job editor the crop mark choice option should be towards the bottom left of the window.
  19. Imageclub10!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just an FYI, this guy is now selling under the name "Taylor Digital" on taylordigital.ca. Same guy; new name, same junk. Guess he googled himself and decided he had a bad rap, lol.
