Have you had a chance to use one of the Shenggong trimmers? I know some of the chicom stuff is actually not bad... I'm kinda leaning toward one of the dahle trimmers.

Yeah, for business cards or bubblegum cards, you can't even _begin_ to go as low as some of the big print shops... They can print them, and sell them to you, lower than your paper cost. Find a good vendor with good turnaround, and add value with the graphics.

Okay - I'm gonna revive this sucker... I got the imagedge dealie, and it's GREAT for finishing magnets. Not so great for cutting big sheets of paper - I mean, it's doable, but it's also a little unwieldy, and being that it's in several sections, that causes a bit of a hassle too... I'm back to...

The cool thing about raw is that you can go up/down a couple of stops _without image degradation_. Digital is NOT as forgiving of over/under exposure as film, and after you get used to playing with the raw images, you'll never go back.

If you can, shoot raw, as high a resolution as you can. Personally, if people ask my advice, I tell them to buy a camera that's made by a -camera- company, not a general electronics company. Reason being is that the lens, etc., are likely to work a LOT better. Canons also generally have...
