I don't know which motherboard you have, but here are a few suggestions:
1. Your motherboard may have a serial header on the board. If so, you just need to find a cable and backplate. They are only a few bucks.
2. You may be able to add-in a PCI or PCI Express Serial Add-in card.
3. Gerber...
This is often true and is your best bet. If not, the Serial / USB adapters are definitely worth a shot.
Either way, I would be happy to help if you want to give me a buzz.
You may try to turn that computer off completely and see if you are able to do anything in the license manager on the new computer. Because Flexi is able to recognize a dongle over the network, it is possible that the old computer is "using" the dongle and not allowing the new computer to do...
Does your dongle look like it is installed correctly in Device Manager? I would absolutely use the newest Sentinal driver, not the one that came on the CD.
In License Manager, are you 100% sure that the license key is correct and that you don't have any spaces before or after the key?
Me either, unless they are worried about an older Ethernet adapter not automatically switching (crossing-over). In the case of an older Ethernet adapter being used, adding a modern switch would automatically make the cross-over if needed.
