If you print, remove the the vinyl from the printer, and then put it in without laminating, is cutting any better? Sometimes the gloss level of a laminate can cause issues. If this is the case, try to put some matte tape over the registration marks.
We have a JV330 8C in our demo room. Good print quality, great speed. The odour of the inks is a bit more pronounced. Funny thing is that everyone I demonstrate it to, is that they ask if it's possible to get it without the XY trimmer.

Hi, my first guess is that other ink restrictions were used for yellow, orange and magenta.
Both can have good grays too, it’s just a matter of using more black ink in the separation. Defaults for gray separation is way too conservative, especially for printers with light black ink.
