Customer gives me a spec sheet for a township and they are requesting pole signs 2" x 12" that are strapped onto the light standards. The aluminum is covered with high intensity reflective and black numbers. My regular supplier does not have clear anodized 1/16 of an inch and asked why we...
Everyday it seems something new seems to happen.
received a print file from another sign shop and he had the sizes in his message. I import the file in Signlab and they come in about 1/3 the size. I told him, and he said that he received them from his client and when he opened them in Corel...
It works well, the only thing I dont like about using it is that the premask does not really stick well to the liner and can curl, so be careful how you store it before application..or staple the corners
I am posting a pic of my head unit. I saw this one connector that looks strange where it is...it is not loose but maybe it has something to do with the electric eye when setting up a new roll of material. I just found it odd the way it looked jammed in there
I have a heating air conditioning compnay that wanted decals to put on furnaces. He was worried that they would not stick and I assured him that they should be no problem considering that decals on vehicles stick on hot metal during the summer. Maybe I was wrong, but I printed him 100 labels...
should buy 1.5" velcro rolls ...a dot cannot support the shear weight of a sign that large...BTW how many dots per sign did you use. I would also use methyl hydrate to clean the wall before applying the velcro
I realize that this product is rated as a 3year low end vinyl. I am curious of those that use it how they like it and just what would they use it for besides coro signs. i suppose it is good for any indoor application as well.
haha I have my 3.5" disks too!!! I still use that oild font book it came with. I don't have this computer set up with the printer, but I don't have the print package either....but what does VPM stand for?
I have a logo with a gradient in it that was created in illustrator. I generally do all my work in Signlab for cutting and setting up vinyl cut and print jobs. I use Flexi for the printing end, however I am not as accomplished in the software so do everything in Signlab and export as an eps to...
I picked up this aluminum seat that is used by seniors in a bathtub. Strange as it may sound it sits very low and has rubber feet, so it does not move when you are leaning over to reach out to squeegee. It is designed to be very comfortable and you sit very low....great for working on pick up...
I have seen this on my summa d140 . The culprit for me is that the roller has to be lined up on the little metal roller beneath it and sometimes when loading vinyl they can get moved slightly without you noticing it, then the buckles happen. You might also try slowing the plotter down
I always find that what kills the strip is one day you load some vinyl and the leading edge rips the strip right off...then you have a problem. Last time the strip came off in 2 pieces as the cutter basically wore through it. I did not have a replacement and used 3M primer to put it back on and...
