I have the Wagner, but I won a Conair clothes steamer in a golf tourney and decided to try that. The gizmo boils the water within 2 minutes of plugging it in...even better than the wagner
I should say that the turning radius to get them in is pretty tough, but also I don't want the garage doors open for extended periods of time. 9 trucks sounds great but it is only the doors and most of the time will be spent striping the old graphics off. the new graphics would take 2...
Basically have to strip current logos off of 9 truck doors (aluminum) and re-letter with basically 3 lines of generic copy. Easy job, except it is now winter and too cold to work outside. They have no indoor facilities and I suggested that we need to cover up whats on there now and wait till...
I use this quite a lot for certain jobs...but beware that you should be using high tac pre mask and also don't allow customers to order more than they need as over time the vinyl will not come off the backing synthetic liner at all. trust me I have learned the hard way...had 50 complex logos...
What software are you using? I find vector files are never that large, unless you are using Corel...there seems to be something in that software that makes eps files ridiculously large
Well I warned them and they said to proceed..... The customer wanted the decal on and I guess if he can afford an $8000.00 wax job, whats a $1000.00 to try anyhow.
It was 3m 100 series electrocut. The matte black had a white backing.....I told the service guys that the cost on the material for these 2 was under $25.00 lol
Sort of got roped into a tricky install this morning.
Received a call from a body shop that I generally do brake caliper decals for. They do work on astin martins, porches lambo's you name it.... I get there and I said OK where is the car and what do you want put on it.... I was thinking...
Customer wants their logo on the side of a transit in white reflective with a black key line all around it. I am thinking that the only way i can do this is to drop the reflective onto a 2ml black, but the only way that is happening is if I do it wet.
Yes I know they say you shouldn't do...
wrong Gino.... The sharpie marker is something they did not do in the past. I wondered about that and spoke to the purchasing agent again to clarify that this has been the way it was done since 2011 and she confirmed this was something they just started doing. You see people are basically...
After posting this I decided to call them and ask more questions.... I have a feeling this rubbing of a sharpie marker is something they never did with the old ones, in fact I think they may have just tried doing it last week as they had the 100 plates I sent 2 weeks before the remainder of the...
I am in a bit of a pickle.... A good customer of mine ordered 500 aluminum plates 2" x 3" with 4 holes screen printed black with clear openings so that they could stamp part numbers and whatever else they put on them.
They reorder them this year and I get a price from that company and they...
If you are talking about square cut or circular decals sometimes they weed better doing it from a different direction...top down, bottom up...lots of variables.
