What's the difficulty in quoting a large quantity? Estimate how much setup time, how much labour per unit, how much material is required, and that's it.
We had the same issue with moisture trapping on a large installation of Vista frames years ago. We ended up putting vinyl prints on 1mm PVC and tossing the lenses.
There is substantial discussion about this in the comments section of the article. Museums cannot claim copyright to public domain works. Public domain means anyone can use it as they wish, commercial or otherwise, because the copyright has expired.
However, some online archives may ask you to...
Also, just to add. When we're working with old high-res images, step 2 is to do any restoration work in Photoshop if needed, and step 3 would be to run it through Topaz Gigapixel to maximize the resolution.
It looks like most of the images the Surface View uses are public domain images (i.e. 1923 or earlier). Many museums and archives have high-res images in their online archives. Here's a good article that links to a few famous ones...
Is it supposed to be just an R, or are you trying to make one symbol that represents a P and an R? If it's the latter, it's not going to work – no one will read it as RP or PR when they're combined.
Johnny's idea with the vine wrapping around the trunk is nice. The first thing I would have...
Another easy way to solve this in Acrobat is to simply print to PDF. Make sure you select the option in the top right corner to print "Document and Markups". You'll have to shrink it to fit 8.5x11 and then rescale it later, or change the page size under Page Setup.
I usually try the first search below, download the first 5–10 PDFs, and then quickly skim through them to see if there's a vector logo. If not, I'll either download more from the first search, or try the second search.

This will return only PDF files that are...
Take your pick. These are the four most well-known font marketplaces that sell Frutiger, in a variety of different versions.

I'm having the same issue – only 4 size options (Any size, Large, Medium, Icon). Clearing cookies and logging out doesn't fix it.
Google probably decided there were too many options and they wanted to simplify it. Most likely you're all going to have the same issue soon. When Google makes...
As others have implied, I think the biggest factor is that you're fully managing the project and taking on all the risk. Think of it like betting, where you get to estimate the risk and choose the odds via your markup.
If we're finding new vendors for the job, that's high risk and 100% markup...
I don't know if we're just lucky or what, but most companies that we deal with who are large enough to have a purchasing agent, they greenlight 99% of the quotes we give them without pushback on price. The only exception in my experience is general contractors, who thrive on screwing over as...
What none of you are taking into account is perspective. If you stretch a circle into an ellipse that matches the chord:arc ratio when the height of the circle is supposed to be as large or larger than the tank, you might get a shape that appears to have 1:1 proportions like a circle, except...
For future reference, here's how Dan360 found the text:

i.e. just type a short phrase from the text into Google and...
You're better off trying a Google image search for creative commons photos. Do your search, then Tools > Usage Rights > Non-commercial
Be sure to check the license because creative commons licenses usually require you to add text that attributes the photographer somewhere on or near the photo.
That's the wrong link. If you want to print a wall mural you have to get a creative license, not an editorial license.
Here's the correct link:
