Yes, been running 100% since. In our case we called the tech and did what test he asked for before sending the cap station. I don't remember it costing a ton. More cleaning after removal of the old seems to be what I remember.

Yes, they should be totally full. They both have issues. Call your dealer, they should be able to get you parts out fast. In the meantime check all fittings and pull some ink through and do not run any cleaning cycles as this will burn the head out if the ink is siphoning out. We get our Seiko...

Had similar thing happen to our magenta. It was the capping station causing it to lose siphon. Follow the lines and it will be clear if that is the cause. Open the cover and look at the lines. Should be full of ink.
Agree with bigfish. But you can call general formulations and tell them what you are doing with it and they can advise you. I've called about a few things I've used thier products on and they seemed pretty helpful. I prob. would go with 3M.
We pay a $75 fee to one of our commercial property management companies we work with. When they started doing this a few years ago, our contact just told us to add the fee onto the invoice. I think they did it to make sure the vendors had insurance coverage.
I had something like that happen to me once about some years ago. Used Cookes as the primer and painted a dark blue. Was a gold leaf sign as well. Looked great in the shop. Installed it and about 3 weeks later it blistered all up like that. Took it buy my local pro paint shop (ICI at the time)...
