It looks like it's printed on reflective to me.

Our SG did the same thing. Tried multiple cleanings and calibrations, various print settings and media, new ink. Perfect nozzle prints and heads looked perfectly clean. Certified Roland tech tried everything as well, but in the end, the only fix was to replace the head.

I'm guessing your feed calibration looks ok? Is feed calibration set in VW to use the printer settings? What does your tech think the problem is?

I'm going to disagree. I respect your expertise and know you're one of the most knowledgeable people on here when it comes to printers. But you're telling me every single screw in my Roland printer has these dots stamped in them, and they are considered "regular" phillips? I'm seeing multiple...

If it has a dot stamped into the screwhead it's JIS. My Roland has them.

It may actually be a JIS screw, but still leaning towards pozidriv.
