Baked white aluminum? For large areas/backgrounds scuff it with a 3M Scotch-Brite Pad to give it some tooth and oil base enamel adheres fine. No need to prime.

Before or after laminating?
I had a three panel job on a box truck once and installed a new roll of laminate
for the last panel and it shifted the color. Same exact laminate 290Gloss but must have been a different lot # and it darkened the print slightly.
I had periodic jamming of material w/ my Edge 2 once in a while.
The fix was to clean the shaft of the movable back sprocket and give it a drop or 2 of oil.
Fixed the issue every time.
Not sure if the FX has the same back sprocket setup but probably does...
Pull off the little c clamp on the outside and slide them out.
Make sure you put the new roller in correctly because they are tapered.
Little red or black dot goes to the outside.
You also want to put down something to cover any open areas on the printer so you don't lose anything...
